Make It Last
This morning, I was holding my daughter — arms wrapped tight around me, her little face pressed to mine — and I had a thought that stopped me in my tracks:
Today is the smallest she will ever be again.
Tomorrow, she’ll grow — in height, in heart, in ways I’ll never fully be ready for. She’ll stretch her wings a little more. Ask new questions. Push new boundaries. Become someone new.
And I realized: I’m not just building a business or chasing goals. I’m building a legacy. And she’s watching me do it.
So I slowed down.
Held her longer.
Memorized the way she still fits in my arms.
Let the softness of that moment anchor me — because this is part of my strength.
See, the grind doesn’t stop — but neither does time. And being strong isn’t just about hustle, sweat, and pushing through. Strength is also in the stillness. In presence. In purpose. In choosing to be all in — not just in business, but in motherhood, too.
I’m raising her while I rise. And I’m learning that some days, the most savage thing I can do...is slow down and make it last.
Keep rising. Keep blooming. Just don’t miss the version of them you’ll never get back.
