Mid-Year Check-In: Are You Becoming Who You Said You Would?
Share
We're halfway through 2026. And before the second half of the year picks up speed, it's worth pausing to ask yourself one honest question:
Are you becoming who you said you would?
Not to judge yourself. Not to spiral into what you haven't done. But to check in — with honesty and grace — and decide what the next six months are going to look like.
Start With What's Working
Before you look at the gaps, look at the wins. What have you done in the first half of this year that you're proud of? What habits have you built? What did you show up for even when it was hard?
Write it down. Seriously. Your brain needs to see the evidence of your growth before it can believe in more of it.
Then Look at the Gaps — Without Shame
Where did you fall short of what you intended? Where did life get in the way? Where did you let fear, perfectionism, or distraction pull you off course?
Look at it clearly. Not to beat yourself up — but to understand it. Because you can't course-correct what you won't acknowledge.
Ask Yourself These Questions
- What did I say I would do in 2026 that I haven't started yet?
- What's one habit I want to lock in for the second half of the year?
- What do I need to let go of to make room for what matters?
- Who do I want to be by December 31st?
The Second Half Starts Now
You still have six months. That's 180+ days. That's enough time to build something real, change something meaningful, and become someone you're proud of.
The woman you want to be isn't waiting for January. She's waiting for you to decide — right now — that you're worth showing up for.
"The best time to start was January. The second best time is today." — Lindsey Stines
